Travel assignment in Kansas City, Missouri
Unit: Radiation Oncology
Building: Sarah Cannon Cancer Center
Schedule: Monday through Friday, days
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 12 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Missouri
Radiation Therapist with 4 years of experience
Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
ARRT (T)
BLS

Preferred Qualifications

Truebeam experience
OSMS experience

Unit Details

490-bed hospital
Unit staffing includes 4 RTT’s and 2 Rad Onc RNs
Equipment includes Truebeam and iX
Documentation systems: Mosaiq and Meditech
Procedures performed include VMAT, 3D treatments, SRS, SBRT, and emergency treatments such as SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression
Truebeam Linac

Additional Notes

Floating policy: NA
Required uniform: Grey or Charcoal grey scrubs

Pros

This MRI department is amazing! The nurses there are awesome! My experience there was exceptional! The patient care was outstanding!!

Cons

The pay was the only thing that was lacking. But that is what it was! No regrets about working there! Also the housing situation was not great. But that has nothing to do with the facility!
