RN Med Surg Telemetry

Overview

Travel RN position in Lake Havasu City, Arizona
1 opening
3x12 shifts
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period
No call requirement
Floating to other units in the hospital is expected, including IMC and ED
40-bed unit
Patient ratio: 1:6
Adult/geriatric patient population
Orientation is weekly
No block schedule requests
48-hour schedules may be considered but are not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
One completed travel assignment
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years of RN experience
Preceptor experience
Charge experience

Unit Details

Med Surg Telemetry unit
Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel medication dispensing cabinet, and Zoll defibrillators
EHR: Medhost

Patient Population

Total joint patients
Surgical patients
ACS
Patients with acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD
Alcohol withdrawal
SIRS
GIB
