Job Overview

Travel RN position in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Clinical, patient-facing role
13-week contract
36 or 48 hours per week
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
Holidays as required
Every other weekend

Unit Details

Medical respiratory unit with a 42-bed census
Primary patient population includes acute and chronic respiratory conditions
Also cares for medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical cases
Includes an 8-bed respiratory step-down unit
Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:6 on the main unit and 1:4 in step-down

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in Alabama
Med Surg / Telemetry experience
1 year of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
RN - Med Surg Telemetry experience

Required Certifications

BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Work Environment

Solid navy scrubs
