Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
- Clinical, patient-facing role
- 13-week contract
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
- Holidays as required
- Every other weekend
Unit Details
- Medical respiratory unit with a 42-bed census
- Primary patient population includes acute and chronic respiratory conditions
- Also cares for medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical cases
- Includes an 8-bed respiratory step-down unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:6 on the main unit and 1:4 in step-down
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- 1 year of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- RN - Med Surg Telemetry experience
Required Certifications
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Work Environment
- Solid navy scrubs
- Parking available
