Travel RN position in Marquette, Michigan
13-week assignment
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
Every other weekend
Float required
Call only if census is low

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
1 year of PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Cardiac patient populations experience
Chest tube management experience
Cardiac monitoring experience
Cardiac drips experience
Telemetry experience

Unit Details

Cardiac IMCU / cardiac and stepdown
36 beds
Trauma Level 2
Telemetry monitoring
Patient ratios: 1:5-6 for cardiac patients and 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown patients

Preferred Experience

PCU/stepdown patient populations
Low-level ICU skills

Common Patient Diagnoses

Chest pain
VATS
Stroke/TIA
Pre- and post-open heart surgery
Pacemakers
Heart blocks
Vascular conditions
CHF

Additional Notes

Teamwork is emphasized
Blue or navy scrubs required
Blue jeans are not allowed
Candidate must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel
