Overview
- Travel RN position in Kennewick, Washington
- Specialty: ICU
- 13-week contract
- Night shift: 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No call
- No block schedules
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Washington Suicide Prevention
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- 2nd floor ICU
- 14 beds
- Typical patient ratio: 1:2
- Medical ICU with minimal cardiac patients
- Common patient types include sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac, and trauma
- IABP used occasionally
Preferred Experience
- Medical ICU experience
- TNCC
Additional Information
- Teaching hospital
- New employee orientation dates are scheduled throughout 2026

Pros
This Cath Lab is only travelers at the moment and has locum doctors on rotation. Some days are very slow but there is also a couple IR doctors who does some easy procedures.
Cons
On call is currently 7 consecutive days on then you get 4 days off before going back on due to number of staff present.
