CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Contract)

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM, rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Work within Imaging Services at a busy medical center.
• Unit includes 100+ imaging techs and interventional radiology nurses.
• Night shift typically staffed with 3 CT/Radiology techs and 1 Ultrasound/MRI tech.
• Fast-paced environment with high-acuity patients, including stroke and trauma cases.
• Requires strong scanning skills, calm and professional demeanor, and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexible attitude and ability to handle super sick patients is essential.

Typical Procedures & Environment

• Wide variety of imaging procedures, with emphasis on stroke and trauma experience.
• Use of mostly GE equipment.
• High patient acuity and fast-paced workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT Certification in CT
• BLS certification

• Dress code: Olive scrub tops and black pants.
