Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position

Location: Washington, Missouri
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12)
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: None

Job Description

Operate therapeutic gas administration devices and mechanical ventilators.
Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Maintain patient charts with identification and therapy information.
Float to other units as needed.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Experience in emergency care
Experience with pulmonary rehabilitation

Work Environment

Acute care hospital with comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric, and pediatric services.
Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke and STEMI Center.
Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
Dress code: Black scrubs required.

Additional Information

Patient population includes trauma, intensive care, and emergency cases.
The facility is recognized for high-quality care and safety standards.
No prior travel experience required.
