CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform CT imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, requiring independent judgment and initiative to obtain optimal image quality.
• Responsible for all aspects of CT imaging, including anatomical positioning, physiology understanding, and technical factor adjustments.
• Prioritize patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort throughout procedures.
• Work primarily in an Emergency Department setting involving trauma, stroke, CT angiography (CTA), and perfusion cases.

Work Schedule

• Evening shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (schedule to be discussed during interview)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Required Qualifications

• CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT certification in CT
• Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CTA and perfusion imaging

Equipment & Technology

• Experience with GE Revolution (256 slices) and Siemens CT scanners
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients
• Adaptability to a fast-paced workload
• Continual standing and walking during shifts
