Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment in Saint Louis, MO, requiring 1+ year of CT experience in an ED, trauma, or stroke setting.

Details

• Works in the Radiology department of an acute care hospital in Saint Louis, MO
• Patient population includes ED, trauma, stroke, CTA, and perfusion cases
• Uses GE Revolution (256-slice) and Siemens CT scanners
• EMR: Epic
• 4x10-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM; schedule to be confirmed at interview
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Tech experience, with background in ED, trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion
• ARRT and ARRT(CT) certification required
• Missouri Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs not accepted
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Ability to manipulate patient transfer equipment, lift and transport patients, stand and walk for extended periods, recognize emergency situations, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Performs CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, exercising independent judgment in anatomical positioning, technical factor selection, and image quality optimization
• Prioritizes patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort throughout all procedures
• CTA and perfusion knowledge preferred
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
• Candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at this facility; after completion, a minimum 1-year separation or transfer to a facility outside the 50-mile radius is required
• Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• All certifications and licenses must be active with no expirations within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
