Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)

Location: Roswell, New Mexico

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, every other weekend (EOW)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Work on a busy General Medical-Surgical unit with quick patient turnover, including post-op ortho and general surgery patients.
• Occasional floating to ICU to care for Med Surg overflow or Step Down patients.
• Patient ratio typically 1:6, sometimes 1:7.
• Unit has 361 beds.
• Required to float as needed, but rarely.
• Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated if specified in the application.
• Scrubs color: Royal Blue.
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Cerner and Mindray Telemetry System.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Mexico
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
