Job Overview

Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NRP
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
ICU experience
ER/Emergency Care experience
Critical adult care experience with weekend rotations

Schedule Requirements

Minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week
Rotating weekends
Rotates throughout all inpatient units

Clinical Setting

Acute-care hospital
Respiratory unit with 266 beds in the facility
Works across all floors and two 10-bed ICUs

Skills and Responsibilities

Critical care and emergency care
ICU, ER, and critical adult care
Level 2 NICU and pediatric care within scope
Aerosol treatments
BiPAP management
Ventilator management
Intubation
Arterial line insertion
Bedside bronchoscopy assist
Daily nursing unit department rounding
Uses AIDET for patient experience

Equipment and Systems

Various ventilators and BiPAPs
Meditech documentation system
Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators
Vapotherm
Philips V60+
Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers
