Overview
- Location: Sachse, Texas
- Employment type: Travel
- Schedule: 5:30 AM–3:30 PM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- This role includes both PACU and pre-op responsibilities.
- Call is required: 1 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday call shift, plus 1 additional weekday call shift each month.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Experience
- Pre-op/PAT experience
Unit Details
- Unit type: PACU
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Staffing: 4 day-shift staff, 0 night-shift staff
- Common procedures: Orthopedic sports/joints, general surgery, robotic surgery
Work Environment
- Team-oriented, positive attitude preferred
