Job Overview

• Location: Brandon, Florida

• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
• Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• OTR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Inpatient rehab experience
• Acute care experience

Unit Details

• Inpatient rehab therapy setting
• Typical patient ratio: 4 to 5 patients per therapist, usually 4
• Typical equipment: standard inpatient rehab gym equipment

Work Environment

• Flexible, team-oriented setting
• Experienced team with strong working relationships with nursing staff

Scheduling Notes

• Rotates one weekend per month
• Every other weekend and holidays are worked in rotation with hospital employees
• A day off is provided before and after the weekend rotation as comp days
