Job Description

Critical care registered nurses provide care for patients with severe medical issues, including heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, and respiratory distress. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patient conditions and implementing care plans
• Treating wounds and providing advanced life support
• Assisting physicians with procedures
• Monitoring and recording vital signs
• Ensuring proper function of medical equipment (ventilators, monitors)
• Administering intravenous fluids and medications
• Collaborating with the critical care team
• Responding to life-saving situations
• Acting as patient advocates and providing education to families

Facility Requirements

• Must have an Idaho RN or multi-state compact license
• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
