Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 33
  • Number of Staff: 23
  • Shift: Day shift only (no night shift)
  • Patient Ratios: 3:1
  • Equipment Used: MacLab, GE, Philips
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Call Requirements: Evenings and weekends

Typical Procedures

  • Cardiac catheterization
  • Interventional coronary cases
  • Structural heart procedures
  • Peripheral interventions
  • Electrophysiology (EP)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist, including experience within the last year
  • Radiology Technician experience
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • Cath Lab Tech Certification
  • Knowledge of USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk standards
