Job Details

Certifications & Licenses Required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- North Dakota state licensure
Department & Work Environment
- Department has 7 treatment areas
- Coverage includes inpatient, outpatient, OR, and ER settings
- Patient population ranges from pediatrics through geriatrics
- High volume with busy OR, ER, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Average workload: 70-80 scans/studies per day plus 5-15 OR cases daily
- Radiologist available on-site Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; after hours covered by teleradiology
- No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) on staff
- No IV starts required
Equipment & Technology
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record system (via Citrix)
- Department equipment includes:
- OEC C-arms
- Metronics O-arm (preferred experience, but training available)
- Fuji general and portable units
- Siemens fluoroscopy units
Experience & Skills Required
- Must have C-arm experience
- Experience with portable imaging and fluoroscopy required
- O-Arm experience preferred but can be trained
Scheduling & Shifts
- 8 or 12-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday, with variable start times:
- Day shifts: 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 11:30 AM
- Night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (mostly weekends)
- Call requirements:
- Weekday call: 1-2 days per week after shift (3:30/4:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Weekend call: Every third weekend, 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM
- Call response time: 20-30 minutes
- Holiday coverage as needed
- Scrubs provided
Orientation & Training
- 1.5 to 2 weeks of orientation including clinical and EPIC training
Additional Notes
- Team-oriented, family feel work environment
- Supervisors and coordinators available on day shifts
Requirements & Restrictions
- Radius rule: Must live within 50 miles
- Candidates may not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
- Return to Office (RTO) required within 7 days of contract start
