Required Qualifications

Active BLS
Active ACLS
Active Arizona RN license or compact license
2 years of ER/Trauma experience
COVID-19 vaccination or approved declination with documentation
Dysrhythmia exam required before start
Pass/fail Sim Lab on day 1 of orientation
Moderate conscious sedation competency testing

Schedule Requirements

Every other weekend
Must work 2 of 3 holidays during the holiday season
Start times vary; flexibility is required

Work Setting

Emergency room with 31 beds
Ratios: 1:3-4
Charge nurse and unit secretary present
Paramedics and CNAs support the unit
RT and pharmacy available 24/7

High-risk OB
Psych holds
Cardioversions
Conscious sedation for closed fractures
11% pediatric population

Floating

May float between Gilbert and Chandler ER locations
