Registered Nurse – Med/Tele 2N

Location: Savannah, Georgia
Unit: New 10-bed Med/Tele unit (Regional Admissions)

Assignment Details

Length: 14 weeks (approximately)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7pm–7am)
Hours per week: 36
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
Scheduling: Block scheduling allowed
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday: Rotation unless approved time off

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent Med/Telemetry nursing experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity
Successful completion of at least 1 prior travel nursing assignment
Current, active RN license valid at time of submission (no license restrictions allowed; NURSYS report required)
BLS (AHA) certification
ACLS certification
Ability to titrate drips

Candidate Experience & Submission Requirements

Experience must be in a hospital similar in size and acuity to the facility
Resume must include:
- Number of beds and trauma level of all facilities worked in the past 3 years
- Employment type for each position (permanent, travel, PRN)
- Number of shifts worked per month if PRN
Submission must include:
- Full availability including all requested time off
- Start date aligned with compliance timelines
- Current references within Med/Telemetry specialty

Onboarding & Orientation

Orientation sessions held bi-weekly (dates provided by employer)
Monday appointments with occupational health and HR if needed
Classroom orientation begins Tuesday after Monday appointment
Onboarding must be completed at least 7 calendar days before start date

Additional Notes

Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted
Quick start requests require prior approval
Interview process includes clinical profile review and manager interview
