Assignment Details

13-week contract
No RTO will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract
40-hour shift work with call when appropriate
Floating to other units/departments
Dress code: personal scrubs, healthcare professional attire

Required Qualifications

3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
Vascular Technologist experience
ARDMS (AB)(OB)(RVT)
BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Clinical Skills / Procedures

Abdomen: aorta, IVC, liver/biliary, pancreas, spleen, renal; normal and pathology
GYN: breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, pelvis; pathology and normal, post-menopausal, transvaginal, adult and pediatric
OB: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester; amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR, uterus/adnexa
Aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative procedures
Neonatal: congenital anomalies and neonatal head
Superficial structures: abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum & testes, thyroid
Vascular: carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex
