Role Summary

Respiratory Therapist in Cardiopulmonary.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
• Respiratory Therapist (3 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients with breathing issues, including analyzing blood and sputum and conducting lung capacity tests
• Provide oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators
• Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Update patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning
• Teach patients and families how to manage diseases and use home equipment
