Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Aspen, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing all instruments used in surgical procedures and patient care.
• Performs daily biological and sterile supply testing and maintains logs.
• Organizes and directs instrument needs throughout the facility.
• Assists clinical operations with endoscopy procedures as needed.
• Stocks and orders supplies for the unit as directed.
• Completes competencies based on established policies and standards (AORN, AAMI, HSPA, CER).
• Collaborates with department members and other units to ensure patient safety and effective communication.
• May assist in roles beyond surgical-specific duties to support department needs.

Shift

• 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
• Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year.
• Certification: CRCST or CER required.
