Clinic RN - Cardiology

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work Monday-Friday, Days
  • Triage and assess patient concerns
  • Provide care coordination across cardiology services
  • Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
  • Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
  • Start IVs for diagnostic testing
  • Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
  • Occasionally assist with patient rooming in clinic

Required Qualifications

  • Current Colorado RN license in good standing
  • BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 3 years of cardiology-specific clinic/ambulatory experience
  • Experience with Athena and Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems; EMR conversion from Athena to Epic expected

Additional Information

  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule)
