Cath Lab Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Chillicothe, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekdays, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), some call required
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed

Job Description

Provide professional patient care using radiologic skills and procedures in the Cath Lab.
Serve as a primary caregiver, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with physicians, patients, families, and team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
Perform duties including scrubbing and monitoring/documenting multiple modalities within the Cath Lab.
Assist in heart catheterization procedures, emergent cath procedures (including Impella and IABP), Peripheral lab, and Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
Respond to call within 45 minutes, with one weekend per month and two nights per week on call.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist
ARRT certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Preferred Qualifications

At least 1 year of prior travel experience preferred.

Additional Information

Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the facility.
