Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Previous nursing experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, and patient/family education
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge teaching
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
- Delegate and oversee patient care tasks within scope of practice
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and documentation auditing
