Unit / Setting

32-bed step down unit
The source notes this is usually recruited for progressive care nurses or intermediate care
The unit manages drips and more acute patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
EKG competency and rhythm interpretation

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Additional Details

May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
