Occupational Therapist

Overview

• Travel occupational therapy role in Friendship, Wisconsin
• 12-week assignment
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shift, typically 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Schedule

• Possible weekend rotation, but unlikely; flexibility is required
• No holiday shifts
• No on-call or callback requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin
• Occupational Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate degree or certificate from an occupational therapy program

Experience

• 2–5+ years of experience preferred
• Experience in both hospital and outpatient settings is preferred
• Interest in inpatient and swingbed/observation patients is preferred

Patient Population / Setting

• Mixed inpatient and outpatient caseload
• Approximately 50% hospital-based care and 50% outpatient care
• Patient population includes elderly and chronic pain cases
• Common cases include total joints, low back/neck pain, chronic pain, and surgical/pain patients
• Typical patient volume is 6–10 per day

Additional Notes

• Epic experience is preferred
• Casual dress is generally acceptable
• Medical compliance must begin within 48 hours of offer acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start
