Job Description
- Med Surg background accepted; additional training available
- Requires 2 years of experience in nursing
- Level II trauma experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Rehabilitation setting, with Rehabilitation experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Level II trauma experience
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred for ER experience
- Chemotherapy certification preferred for Oncology
Additional Information
- Government-issued photo ID and two forms of ID required
- Completion of computer-based learning modules prior to start
- Various facility-specific forms and acknowledgments must be completed before starting
- Annual updates required for certain certifications and background checks
This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse with med surg experience looking for a travel contract in Illinois with a 13-week commitment. Prior trauma experience and additional certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
