Job Description

• Must have 2 years current and strong LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) nursing skills.
• Experience with tracheostomies, ventilators, and drips required.
• Patient ratios can be 1:5-6 due to LTAC setting.
• Every Other Week (EOW) schedule.
• Local candidates accepted same as travel.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for Missouri or Compact License in hand.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in LTAC nursing.
• No explicit prior travel experience required.

Required Documents & Compliance

• Unexpired government-issued photo ID.
• Background checks within 1 year, including SS Trace, County searches (7 years), Nationwide, Sex Offender.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, and Sex Offender searches required within 30 days of start.
• National certification verification prior to start and upon expiration.
• State license primary source verification prior to start and upon expiration.
• NURSYS verification prior to start.
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable.
• Signed acknowledgment of safety and orientation manuals.
• Physical exam within the last 12 months.
• Fit testing with N95 mask within the past year.
• Immunizations or exemptions required for Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months.
• Drug screen within the last 12 months.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season.
• COVID-19 vaccination or declination.
• Two professional references within 3 years.
• Employment application and skills checklist required.
• Missouri-specific EDL search results within 30 days prior to start.

Additional Notes

• This is a travel/contract position in a Long-Term Acute Care environment.
• Patient care ratios may be higher than typical acute care settings.
• Local candidates are considered equally with travel candidates.
