MS/Tele RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Kingwood, West Virginia
  • 13-week assignment
  • Nights: 3x12 or 4x12, 6:45pm–7:15am
  • Weekdays, every other weekend
  • Float required

Unit / Setting

  • 70-bed rural facility
  • MS/Tele unit
  • RN may be floated to other units, including ICU, to cover patient care needs
  • Ratio: 1:5
  • LPNs are utilized on night shift with the RN
  • House Supervisor available 24/7 for support

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in West Virginia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by the American Heart Association

Preferred

  • PALS
  • Pediatrics
  • Charge experience

Float Scope

  • ER
  • ICU

Additional Notes

  • Travel experience not required
  • Blocked schedule must be requested upfront and will be discussed at interview
  • Scrubs are not provided; color is Burgundy
  • EMR: Cerner
