Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Wilmington, North Carolina
Night shift, 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience

Key Clinical Experience

Cardiac telemetry
PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Sheath removal
Post-MI care
Pre/post cardiac cath care
Management of cardiac drips
Chest tubes
External CPAP/BIPAP
Non-invasive airway management

Unit Notes

Ratios vary by acuity
Float assignment follows unit rotation; not first to float
Weekend requirement: 4 per 4 weeks, flexible
Unit orientation: 24 hours
Navy scrubs
