Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Aurora, Colorado
Rotating shifts
36 hours per week
13-week contract
First-time travelers accepted
Weekend work required per unit needs
On-call not required
Floating required as needed, including to sister facilities in the Metro region
Navy scrubs

Unit Details

High-acuity medical-surgical telemetry unit focused on transplant and hepatology patients
36 beds
Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5, with higher-acuity patients staffed at 2:1 or 3:1 as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

BSN preferred

Important Considerations

Candidates must be comfortable working with flexible staffing ratios
RTO is limited to 10 days maximum and is not allowed during specified blackout dates
