Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Aurora, Colorado
- Rotating shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend work required per unit needs
- On-call not required
- Floating required as needed, including to sister facilities in the Metro region
- Navy scrubs
Unit Details
- High-acuity medical-surgical telemetry unit focused on transplant and hepatology patients
- 36 beds
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4-5, with higher-acuity patients staffed at 2:1 or 3:1 as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred
Important Considerations
- Candidates must be comfortable working with flexible staffing ratios
- RTO is limited to 10 days maximum and is not allowed during specified blackout dates
