Acute Care Float Pool Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift options: Day or night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Local candidates accepted
- Floating: Within hospital, within scope
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Float experience within the last year
- 2 years of float experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
- Must pass a 7-year criminal background check
- Education verification required
- Must complete a medication/pharmacology competency exam
- Must complete a competency exam
- Must complete a dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam
- Must complete a color blind test
- Must complete a fit test for mask use within 12 months of start
- Must complete a physical exam document
- Must complete a drug screen within 1 year of start
- Must provide immunization or immunity documentation for TB, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap, flu, and COVID
- Must complete WA license complaint clearance if using a Washington state license
Preferred
- CPI certification

- Acute care float pool covering medical, surgical, medical telemetry, surgical telemetry, infusion, orthopedics, and neurosurgery
- Magnet, teaching, Level 4 trauma center
- 281 staffed beds
- Scrubs provided for OR personnel
- Parking available for a monthly fee
