Job Overview
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Setting: CVICU
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: 3x12s only; day/night rotating shifts
- Shift times: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Hours per week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU (1.5 years of experience)
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Schedule Expectations
- Shifts may rotate if needed to meet hospital operational needs
- Must work at least every other holiday
Orientation / Onboarding Requirements
- ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation and must be passed
- Background check and fingerprinting are required before start
- Education verification is required
- Employment application must include prior work history and clinical practice details
- Two references are required
- Annual skills checklist is required
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
- Tdap vaccination/documentation
- TB screening or chest X-ray, depending on history
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation
- Drug screening within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination/documentation for the seasonal period
- Eye exam within 1 year of start

- Candidate name must match across required licensing and onboarding documents
- Some onboarding items must be completed before clearance to start
