Overview

Unit Focus

  • Med/Surg patient care
  • PC/AC/Tele/Med Surg experience required
  • Float to other universal/progressive areas within the health system

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Kentucky
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
  • Med Surg experience
  • Telemetry experience
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Must be able to work every other weekend
  • Must be available for 3 of 5 winter holidays
  • Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted

  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, COVID, and flu documentation or approved exemptions
  • Drug screening
  • Annual competency, skills checklist, core competency, color blindness, medication/pharmacology, and EKG-related testing/documentation as required by the unit and facility process
