Unit Details

Mixed med/surg and intermediate care patient population
Nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:4 to 1:6
Must be willing to take some Med/Surg overflow

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Stepdown (1 year of experience)
Stepdown experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience
