ICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

• Completion of required background checks and state clearances
• Negative drug screen within 30 days of start
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Immunization or immunity documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella
• Flu vaccination or approved declination during flu season
• 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Annual skills checklist

Pre-Start Training / Onboarding

• Completion of facility-specific onboarding documents and training before start
• Onsite workplace violence prevention training may be completed during orientation
• Competency and medication/pharmacology testing may be required as applicable to the profession
