Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule options: 4x10-hour shifts, 5x8-hour shifts, or combination of 2x12-hour and 2x8-hour shifts on Day/Evening/Night rotations.
Schedule is rotating and released in 6-week blocks, provided 2 weeks prior to the start.
Level 1, 24/7 Operating Room covering multiple surgical specialties including orthopedics, vascular, endovascular, plastics, ENT, neuro, DaVinci robotics (XI and DV5), thoracic, general, colo-rectal, urology, gynecology, trauma, and transplant surgery (transplant experience not required).
Weekend work and on-call duties are required.
Guaranteed hours.
Pending license accepted.
Return to office (RTO) restrictions: RTO greater than 7 days requires approval.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
Operating Room experience within the last year.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
