Registered Nurse - MS/Telemetry (Night Shift)

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit: 2E overflow
• Shift: Night, 4 shifts of 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Hours per week: 48
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be required based on operational needs, with training and resources provided. Candidates must be willing to take on charge duties if needed.
• Must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays (Memorial Day weekend, Father’s Day weekend, 4th of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
• First-time travelers are not accepted.
• Local candidates are not accepted.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Notes

• Pending license candidates are accepted if license is in hand at start.
• Facility-specific forms and compliance documents must be completed as a priority before start.
• On-site fit testing is limited and requires prior approval; PAPR use requires facility approval.
• Charge pay is offered for charge nurse duties.
• Holiday time off requests are restricted for major holidays listed above.

This position is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses comfortable with telemetry and medical-surgical overflow care, who are willing to work night shifts and holiday coverage, and who meet all licensing, certification, and health requirements.
