Required Certifications & Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN Intermediate (Electronic Fetal Monitoring for Labor & Delivery RNs)

Key Requirements

• Current and valid Driver’s License or State-issued ID
• Utility bill in candidate’s name with matching address dated within last 3 months (address must be >75 miles from facility)
• No pending state license accepted
• Must meet all background check requirements including 7-year criminal background check, education verification, and various federal/state sanction checks
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming good health and no physical limitations
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within required timeframes
• Required immunizations and health documents including Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine (or approved exemption), and COVID vaccination strongly preferred
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including marijuana (required within 30 days prior to start)
• Fit mask testing completed onsite on first day
• Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training including HIPAA and OSHA acknowledgments
• Must complete required competency exams and skills checklists annually (medication, dysrhythmia/EKG, core parts I-III, conscious sedation, etc.)
• References: Two former direct supervisor references required (one within 1 year, one within 3 years)
• Work history verification for last 10 years

Additional Notes

• Candidates must attend Patient Care Orientation Class (Skills) and EPIC training if no EPIC experience within 6 months
• Fit testing for N95 masks required onsite prior to or on first day
• Facility-specific policies and acknowledgments must be completed prior to start
• Behavioral health certifications and competencies required if applicable
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
