Job Description
- Specialty areas required: Oncology, Step Down, Surgical, Telemetry
- Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other week (EOW), every other holiday (EOH)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
Required Experience
- Specialty: RN Oncology

- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct-Mar) or must complete masking and declination forms
- Fit Test: Completed within 1 year of start
- TB Testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest x-ray and current TB questionnaire required
- Physical Exam: Completed within 1 year of start, must state ability to work without restrictions
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Ohio Fingerprints: Required (BCI&I check and FBI fingerprint check depending on residency duration)
- Criminal Background Check: Within 6 months, including Social Security Trace and National Sex Offender check
- Drug Screen: 10-panel urine drug screen within 60 days of start (no instant tests)
- Employment Verification: Verification of employment within last 5 years through third-party
- Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through third-party
- I-9 Attestation: Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- OIG Search, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC Checks: To be completed within 6 months prior to start
- Social Security Trace and National Database Criminal Background Check (for Ohio residents)
Competency & Training Requirements
- UHS Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within 1 year prior to start
- Competency Exam: Must score at least 80%, completed within 1 year prior to start
- Core Competencies: Includes HIPAA, Joint Commission-NPSG, OSHA topics; 80% passing score required
- UHS Module Completion Certificate: Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance; annual renewal required
