Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 (Every third weekend and every third holiday)

Job Description

Work in the Emergency Room setting.
Scheduled shifts are 12 hours, either 07:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30.
Required to work every third weekend and every third holiday.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
ED experience must be within the last year.

Additional Notes

License and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of start.
All required documents and certifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.

This position is ideal for an experienced ER RN who is comfortable with long-term assignments and working rotating weekends and holidays.
