  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred

  • COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred

Job Description

  • Deliver safe patient care using nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in ICU
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel
  • Maintain standards of care in ICU
  • Communicate with physicians regarding patient condition changes, hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality

Required Onboarding Credentials & Compliance

  • Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (valid for 2 years)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam (must score 80% or higher)
  • Prime Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening (must score 80% or higher)
  • Workplace Violence Prevention Training (DCI/BVP)
  • Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport
  • Prime OIG and SAM/EPLS exclusion checks
  • Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC; includes saliva THC test for CA)
  • Color-blind test (annual)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (2 doses plus booster or declination)
  • MMR (proof of immunity or declination)
  • Fit Test (annual respirator fit test)
  • Hepatitis B (declinations accepted)
  • Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season; declinations accepted except certain locations)
  • TB Test (within 1 year of start date)
  • Varicella (proof of immunity or declination)
  • Tdap (declinations accepted)
  • Physical/Health Statement (clear to work, within 1 year)
  • National Criminal Background Check (within 1 year)
  • Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
  • Prime Core Competencies Exam (must score 80% or higher)
  • Prime Skills Checklist
  • Prime Specialty Exam (must score 80% or higher)
