- Evenings
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- On-call details to be discussed during interview
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- ARDMS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate's degree
- General ultrasound procedures (all general and vascular except ABIs, segmental pressure, echo, or breast)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures and obtain imaging results according to physician specifications
- Transfer patients as needed and assist with the ultrasound examination process
- Operate ultrasound imaging and related equipment
- Educate, position, and immobilize patients for procedures
- Coordinate examinations to support timely, quality patient care
- Follow imaging orders accurately and submit images and clinical information for interpretation
- Evaluate image quality
- Maintain supplies and follow sterile technique and infection prevention policies
- Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership
- Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
