• 4 x 10-hour shifts
• On-call details to be discussed during interview

Assignment Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Ultrasound Technologist (2 years of experience)
• Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
• ARDMS
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate's degree
• General ultrasound procedures (all general and vascular except ABIs, segmental pressure, echo, or breast)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures and obtain imaging results according to physician specifications
• Transfer patients as needed and assist with the ultrasound examination process
• Operate ultrasound imaging and related equipment
• Educate, position, and immobilize patients for procedures
• Coordinate examinations to support timely, quality patient care
• Follow imaging orders accurately and submit images and clinical information for interpretation
• Evaluate image quality
• Maintain supplies and follow sterile technique and infection prevention policies
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership
• Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
