Overview

Temp Registered Nurse (RN) role in Sioux City, Iowa
Nights shift, 12 hours per day
13-week contract
Unit specifics: Cardiac, Stroke, General Medical
Patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6 for nights
Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses
Scrub color: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or US Military
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or US Military
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

BLS: AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted
ACLS: AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted

Additional Details

NBO: 16 hrs
OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
On Call: $9/hr
Charge/Precept: $6/hr
Billable OT after 40 hours for 36–40 hour weeks; after 48 hours for 48 hour weeks
Local candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver’s license
Orientation dates: 10/12, 10/26
