Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Glendale, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required (highest stated requirement).
- Licensing:
- Active Arizona or Compact nursing license required at time of submission.
- Nursys background check must show no hits on license at time of submission.
- Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS (Basic Life Support) - required.
- Certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Vaccinations:
- Flu vaccination required (declinations can be applied for). Vaccination status must be included in submission notes.
- Other Requirements:
- Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver's license will NOT be considered.
- Driver’s license required.
- Skills checklist specific to ICU discipline must be completed.
- Resume must include all facilities worked at, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units.
- Banner Cover Page must be completely filled out with all requested information.
- Return to Office (RTO) requests will NOT be approved within the first week of assignment or during holidays and cannot exceed 7 days.
- Background requirements are strict and must be attested to immediately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
Facility Highlights
- Level I Adult Trauma Center (patients 15 and older).
- Newly expanded with state-of-the-art surgical suites, heart and vascular center, and a 200-bed patient tower with all-private rooms.
- Provides comprehensive trauma care including treatment for traumatic injuries such as car crashes, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and traumatic brain injuries.
Additional Notes
- Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
- All shifts, departments, and locations the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated in the submission.
- Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.
- Non-billable hours are adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
- Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
- Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
