Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Morehead City, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Saturday/Sunday, 3 PM - 7 AM
Call Required: No
Floating: As needed within scope
Locals Allowed: No (must live outside 50-mile radius)
First Time Travelers: Not accepted
EMR System: Meditech

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Certifications Required: AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Key Facility Requirements

• Must provide proof of living outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Background checks required within 45 days of start (education verification mandatory)
• Drug testing required within 45 days of start (9-panel drug screen acceptable)
• Physical exam within 90 days of start, including height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella vaccinations or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series and immune titer or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31) with medical/religious exemptions allowed
• COVID vaccine series preferred

Additional Requirements

• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completion of employment application/resume
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• Facility-specific documents including photo for badge, medical history form, hazardous drug form, TB symptom questionnaire, and respirator fit questionnaire
• Must sign facility’s Acceptable Use Policy and complete required training modules prior to start

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position
• Floating may be required within the scope of practice
• No call responsibilities
• Candidates must be experienced (not first-time travelers)
