Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract

Location: Dothan, Alabama
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (1900-0700)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Licensure:

  • Current Alabama RN license or compact license required
  • Exact name match required between Driver’s License, Social Security Card, and RN license
  • Licenses expiring during assignment must have proof of renewal before start
  • NURSYS verification required

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred but not required
  • NIH Stroke Certification (must be current within 1 year and updated annually; required for all RNs except Pediatrics, NICU, and Surgery)
  • Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)

• Core Exams I-III from Prophecy highly preferred (HIPAA attestation required)
• Facility-specific modules must be completed prior to orientation (no time to complete during orientation)

Facility-Specific Requirements

• APS Clearance (Alabama Shirley’s Law):

  • Time-sensitive APS Registry Clearance Form must be hand-signed and completed prior to orientation
  • Witness signature required on form
  • Clearance results must be on file before starting
  • Agency or subcontractors responsible for submitting form and follow-up

• Photo for Badge:

  • Passport-style headshot with light background required within 72 hours of signing
  • No nose rings allowed in photo

• Preferred Badge Name:

  • Confirm preferred first and last name for badge printing

Additional Notes

• Candidate must bring Driver’s License on first day
• Candidate must provide Social Security Card or last four digits for internal verification
• Facility will provide NIH Stroke Certification training after candidate is cleared to start
• Modules and documentation must be completed before orientation; failure to do so will prevent orientation attendance
