Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- CVOR (3 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Atrial Septal defect (adult) repair experience
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft experience
- ECMO experience
- Femoral Cannulation experience
- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump experience
- Left Ventricular Assist device experience
- MAZE Procedure experience
- Mitral valve replacement experience
- PDA experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
Schedule and Call
- Call required 1–2 nights per week and every 5th weekend

- Cardiovascular surgery experience with:
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Atrial septal defect repair
- Coronary artery bypass graft
- ECMO
- Femoral cannulation
- Intra-aortic balloon pump
- Left ventricular assist device
- MAZE procedure
- Mitral valve replacement
- PDA
- Pericardial window
- TAVR
- Scrub cardiovascular surgery
- Vascular surgery experience with:
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
- Arteriovenous fistula repair
- Atherectomy
- Carotid endarterectomy
- Endovascular aneurysm repair
- Femoral popliteal bypass graft
- Scrub vascular surgery
- Vein stripping
- Thoracic surgery experience with:
- Laparoscopic assisted cases
- Lobe resection
- Mediastinoscopy
- Thoracotomy
- VATS
- Scrub thoracic surgery
- Endoscopic procedure experience with:
- Bronchoscopy
- EGD
- Laparoscopic assisted cases
- PEG tube placement/exchange
