Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)
Shift: Day shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Schedule includes overnight, weekend, and holiday call requirements
Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus but not required
1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience required
First-time travel nurses are welcome

Required Certifications & Licenses

Current, valid RN license for Oklahoma
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, with experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

Completion of unit-specific skills checklist annually
Work history verification for the past 7 years
Completion of employment application/resume submission
Color blindness test (online version acceptable)
Medication/pharmacology competency exam with minimum passing score of 80% (or meet/exceed Angoff score)
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance documentation
Background checks including EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG upon hire

Notes

Prior travel experience is not required for this position
Candidates must be prepared for call shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays
EP experience is beneficial but not mandatory

This position offers an opportunity to work in a Cath Lab environment with a supportive team and a structured schedule. Candidates must meet all licensure, certification, and health requirements prior to start.

High complexity patients and staff assignments are based on room numbers and not acuity. So you could have a heavy team while someone else has a light team. There was no teamwork
