CT Tech Travel/Contract Position

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Schedule

  • 5/2 split nights: 5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off, then repeat
  • Night shifts, 11.5 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
  • Must be willing to work 1 major and 1 minor holiday

Job Description

  • Perform duties as a CT Technologist
  • Cerner charting preferred

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year

Experience

  • No explicit years of experience stated; standard ARRT certification implies relevant experience in Radiology/Cardiology
  • No prior travel experience required

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, education verification, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG checks
  • Physical exam within the last 12 months (not required annually)
  • Immunizations and titers required:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (declination form required if declined)
    • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (titer or 2 vaccines; boosters if titer low)
    • Hepatitis B series or positive titer (declinations accepted only under specific circumstances)
    • Varicella (2 vaccines, titer, or history of chickenpox; boosters or declination if negative/equivocal)
    • Flu vaccine required annually during flu season (10/1-3/31) or approved exemption form
    • Hepatitis A required only for select departments (not specified for this role)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months or appropriate PPD testing
  • Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen with alcohol test within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Fit testing for respiratory protection required
  • Photo for badge with specific guidelines (recent, plain background, shoulders up, no filters)
  • References: 2 professional references within 2 years required for travel positions
  • Employment application and skills checklist (updated annually) required
